Our Tutors

At Plumfield HOE it is important for us to live what we teach. If education really is a life, then we must always be educating ourselves as well as our students. All of our teachers are required to take the CORE Teacher Training provided by the Charlotte Mason Institute (learn more about CORE Teacher Trainings here.) We also hold summer training sessions and ongoing professional development to allow our teachers to learn and grow in their understanding of Mason’s principles, educational philosophies, and practices. Preserving the sanctity of family is also important to us, so on occasion you may see a baby or toddler joining our classes as we live and teach in community.
